Group rate on dhow cruises
Book a full-day or half-day dhow cruise for 6 or more paying guests on the same departure and we apply 15% to the total. Mix adults and children; the discount is on the whole group.

Pick a quieter day and we apply 10% to any dhow cruise. Same boat, same crew, same buffet — just fewer other boats in the fjord and easier photos at Telegraph Island.

Kids under 8 cruise free on shared dhows
On any shared (non-private) dhow departure, children under 4 are free, kids 4–8 pay the child rate, kids 9+ pay the adult rate. Applies to full-day, half-day and sunset cruises.

How the discounts work in practice.
How do I get the group rate on a Musandam dhow cruise?
Send us a WhatsApp with the date and the headcount (6+ paying guests on the same departure). We confirm the boat capacity, apply 15% to the group total, and send a single invoice. The discount stacks on top of the kids-under-8-free rate.
Do these deals apply to private dhow charters?
Group-size and mid-week discounts apply to shared (scheduled) departures. Private dhow charters are quoted on request and have their own pricing — usually more cost-effective than the shared boat once your group is 12+. Send us your group size and we will quote both options side by side.
Is the Oman visa fee included in the discount?
The 50 AED Oman entry document is paid at the border and is not part of the tour price. The 35 AED UAE exit fee is also separate. All our discounts apply to the tour cost only — the boat, the 4x4, the hotel and the transfers.
Can I stack more than one deal?
No — one deal per booking. The package bundle is usually the biggest saving, so we recommend starting there. If a package does not fit, the next best saving is the group-of-6 rate for any dhow cruise, then the mid-week 10%.
Are the deals the same year-round?
Most of the deals on this page are year-round. The shoulder-season hotel rate (May and October) is the only seasonal one — it tracks the Khasab hotel pricing. The khareef mist in August means the mountain day on the weekend package is paused, which we will tell you before you book.
