About Golden Tulip Khasab
Golden Tulip Khasab is the most convenient location in Khasab for dhow cruises. The hotel is on the south side of the corniche, a 3-minute walk from the dhow departure point, and it has its own jetty on Khasab Bay where you can swim in the late afternoon. The hotel opened in 2007, was fully refurbished in 2022, and now has 71 rooms and suites, an outdoor pool overlooking the bay, two restaurants, a gym, and a small business centre.
The rooms are smaller than Atana Khasab (25–30 sqm vs 38–45 sqm) but the location is unbeatable for dhow cruise guests. You can have breakfast, walk down to the dhow in 3 minutes, and be back at the pool by 16:30. Sea-view rooms face Khasab Bay and the fish market; mountain-view rooms face the parking lot and are about 25% cheaper.
The hotel is part of the Louvre Hotels Group, which means the service standard is consistent with Golden Tulip properties elsewhere in the region. It is a notch below Atana Khasab in service and food quality, but the location and price make it a strong mid-range choice.
