Step-by-step
1. Leave Sharjah on the E11
The E11 north from Sharjah is 1 hour to RAK. The road is six lanes through Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, four lanes from UAQ to RAK.
2. Take the E18 to the border
From RAK, the E18 is 45 minutes to the Al Dara border.
3. Cross the border
Same as the Dubai route. 30–60 minutes total at the border.
