Boat rental in Khasab is available through our office. We have four dhows (Al-Salam, Al-Khaleej, Al-Marwa, Al-Badiya) and two speedboats (Sea Hawk 1, Sea Hawk 2) available for private charter. The minimum booking is 6 hours for dhows, 2.5 hours for speedboats.
A private dhow is the right pick for a multi-generational family, a honeymoon couple, a small corporate retreat, or a group of friends. The boat is yours for the day; you pick the route, the menu, the music and the timing. The most popular route is the full Khor Sham circuit with Telegraph Island and Seebi Island; the most popular customisation is a sunset return rather than a 16:00 return.
A private speedboat is the right pick for a quick focused trip — dolphins, snorkelling, or a specific destination like Seebi Island. The speedboat is smaller, faster, and more flexible than a dhow.
Step-by-step
1. Tell us what you want
WhatsApp us your group size, your preferred date, and the kind of trip you want (Khor Sham circuit, sunset, snorkelling, dolphins, fishing, etc). We will suggest the right boat and the right duration.
2. Confirm the booking
We send you a one-page booking confirmation with the boat name, the captain’s name, the pickup time, and the price. A 30% deposit confirms; the balance is on the day.
3. Board the boat
Pickup is from your hotel or the dhow port. The captain and crew are on board; the safety briefing takes 5 minutes. The day is yours.

Battery-powered speakers are fine. We do not allow amplified music after 18:00 out of respect for the other boats in the fjord.
